My top picks are cardamon which is a fresh scent, lavender which helps bring calm, helps with sleep also chases bad dreams away, rose for self - care/love when you love yourself you are grounded and present all these herbs can be turned into a room spray. added benefit with each herb that you choose to use will bring in its own magickal attributes.... I know rose and lavender are also used in perfumes...
Agree! The AI images were a nice, hilarious touch I like the first one where she is spraying the perfume bottle at herself but the spray is going in the other direction 😄
Loved this! My bedtime scent is Lush Lord of Misrule. It’s VERY potent so I just do one spray about arms length from my body. Such a warm and cozy scent.
My favourite bed time fragrance is L'occitane Lavande Blanche - which is a strange one because I detest lavendar, on it's own, in fragrance. Lavanda Blanche is so soft, subtle yet sufficiently cosy to snug me into bed.
nemat vanilla musk oil has been my go-to lately! it's very vanilla-forward (duh) but the musk does something magical that makes it so comforting to me. i also like glossier you rêve. it's light (a plus for a headache prone person like me) but warm and just sweet enough.
What a great idea for an article! I love bedtime perfume so much. After I put my night shirt on, I spritz my chest with Henry Rose's Char. To me, it's a yummy, satisfying, comforting scent, perfect for snuggling with my comforter. And also when I want even more smoke, just a little bit of Heretic's Smudge goes a long way. Maybe it's a harken back to instinctual memories of days long ago when humanity slept around a campfire, but I love these sweet, delicious smoky smells for sleeping.
I love to spritz on some Caron Pour Un Homme after an evening shower and before hitting the hay. Lavender and vanilla make for a calming balsam. Other favorites include Habit Rouge EDT, Givenchy Insensé (OG from 1993), and Yohji Homme (OG from 1999). Crucial to my picks is the approval of my bedtime companion, of course (in the sheets, she prefers lighter scents, ideally with an ambery drydown).

Oh I need a disco nap for sure. Anything that makes you relax is a win.
burning palo santo or failing that, The Traveller candle (my brand apothekeperfume) which is packed with it x
Sounds perfect.
If I wear a mindfully chosen scent for bed rather than what I’ve worn all day, it will be Avon Soft Musk. A pretty roseate cloud of clean musk.
Best thing £5 for 50ml

That sounds so perfect and I need to get my nose on it.

P.S. Buying Heal The Way right now!
You won't regret it! And Snif is so reasonably priced imo.
