There's Fourth Street in Berkeley, which has a Le Labo, a Sephora, a Jo Malone, and an Aesop within about two blocks. There are a bunch of cute clothing shops and I haven't been in all of them but at least one has some perfume (Ali Golden with a small collection with Escentric Molecules, DS & Durga, and a couple other brands I'm forgetting).

Oh! Also the Stanford Shopping Center in South Bay -- it's a giant mall with a Neiman Marcus, a Macy's, a Bloomingdale's, an Aesop, a Lush, and a Sephora. The department stores have you covered on a pretty giant range of designer frags like Byredo, Dyptique, Jo Malone, MFK, etc.

Timely post bc I just went to Diptyque for soap but left with a lot more. They always give extra goodies, like Neiman ;)

This is perfectly timed. I’m coming to SF next weekend and was just wondering if you had a list like this. Map marked, can’t wait!

Oh I’m so glad to hear that!! Tell me how it goes. If you don’t have a ton of time I’d start with Ministry of Scent and ZGO because they have the biggest range and some great niche / indie brands.

My plan is ministry of scent, byredo & rag & bone (because I’m fascinated by the resurgence of clothing line scents). Although that 3 for $100 dyptique deal I didn’t know about has me very tempted…I will report back!
